Are you planning to audition for a Conservatorium tertiary degree in jazz? Be well informed about the audition requirements and process so you can achieve your best result in this highly competitive field.

Craig Scott, Chair of the Conservatorium’s Jazz Studies Unit, leads this three hour workshop, which includes discussion and demonstration of the process and the opportunity to try a mock audition in front of your peers (this is optional). This is an invaluable opportunity to ensure your optimum preparation for the “real thing”.

Drummers should bring their own sticks and brushes. Drum kit and cymbals will be provided. Guitarists and bass players should bring their own leads. Vocalists, pianists and horn players are welcome. Amps and mics will be provided.

If you wish to do a mock audition we recommend you have a look at the tertiary course audition requirements and prepare yourself as suggested : click here
