Margi De Ferranti

Margi de Ferranti has enjoyed a flourishing career in the entertainment industry since 1986. She has appeared in Les Miserables (1987 and 1996), Aspects of Love (as Guilietta), The Buddy Holly Story (as Maria Elena Holly), Grease! (as Rizzo), Sunday in the Park with George (as Dot), Fame The Musical (as Miss Bell, Mo award Nomination) and Mamma Mia (National Tour as Donna) in 2003 /4.
She was the Inaugural Winner of the Sydney Cabaret Convention in 1997 and has created many shows including, It’s delightful It’s delicious, It’s de Ferranti which was performed in New York.
For film and television, Margi has appeared alongside Glen Close and Harry Connick Jr in South Pacific (2001), and as a guest on All Saints, White Collar Blue (2002) and Head Start (2001).
Since 2005 Margi has spent her time developing a now thriving private singing practice, where she mainly focuses her time on sharing her wealth of knowledge with up and coming stars as well as industry professionals. Margi’s clients have included Tamsin Carroll, Virginia Gay, Rebecca Gibney, Jessica Rowe, Rachel Beck, Kate Ritchie and Michael Cormick.
2013/14 saw Margi’s return to the stage as Fran in “Lucky Stiff” Margaret White in “Carrie the Musical”, Dr Charlotte in “Falsettos” and Miss Thorn in “Ruthless”, for which she was nominated in 2014 for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at The Sydney Theatre Critics Award.
