Peter Walsh is a pianist, author and educator. He has a degree in piano performance, (The Australian Institute of Music) and a Diploma of Performance (Racconigi, Italy).
He is a highly sought after pianist, accompanist and teacher, leading to invitations to teach and perform at the Bougy Music Camp in Allaman, Switzerland in the summers of 2013 and 2014.
Peter’s students have been the recipients of numerous awards and scholarships throughout Australia; they have also raised funds through putting on concerts for organisations, such as Alzheimer’s Australia.
In March of 2016, Peter published “The Non-Musician's Guide to Parenting a Piano Player.” The book has subsequently received rave reviews from music notables, such as David Dubal, (American pianist, author, broadcaster and teacher at The Julliard School, NewYork) and Frances Wilson (London based pianist and music reviewer).
Peter has been on staff at the Sydney Conservatorium High School since 2007.
