Rafael finished his bachelor degree in National Academy of Metropolitan Orchestra (Lisbon, Portugal) with Abel Pereira(Principal horn NSO Washington). 2006-2014 was sub-principal in Philharmonia Orchestra of Beiras. Rafael works as a freelancer french horn with variety of orchestras(Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne). Rafael is teaching at several Sydney schools.
