Nanda Hong is an orchestral and chamber violinist based in Sydney. She is an orchestral fellow with the Opera Australia Orchestra and works as a freelance violinist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Nanda has held positions such as Concertmaster of The University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Conservatorium Opera Orchestra. She completed her Bachelor of Music (Degree with Honours) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and completes her Masters of Music Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2023 with Janet Davies. She is a recipient of several scholarships including the Ormond Exhibitions Scholarship, Alberto Zelman Scholarship, Corinna D’Hage Mayer String Scholarship and E.R. Moran Bursary. Over the course of her academic journey, Nanda has attained the qualifications B.Mus(Hons), L.Mus.A and A.Mus.A.
