Gahyun Lee is currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Performance) honours degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on Oboe, under the tutelage of Conall McClure. Gahyun has been an active member of Sydney Youth Orchestras since 2019, and is the 2024 principal oboist of their flagship orchestra. Gahyun has performed with various ensembles through the Conservatorium, Sydney Youth Orchestras, and Australian Youth Orchestra..
