Michelle Abraham is a violinist and sought-after teacher for students of all ages and levels. Having recently moved from the US, Ms. Abraham’s teaching supports young students in learning problem-solving skills, developing dexterity and coordination, and growing a love for music through their violin studies. Ms. Abraham has extensive training in the Suzuki Method, and believes that every child has the potential to succeed in a nurturing environment. Ms. Abraham has also performed recitals across America with pianist Peter Takács, has presented masterclasses and clinics for youth orchestra students, and has been on the Faculty for the Senior Session of Kinhaven Music School in Vermont. Ms. Abraham was most recently the Associate Concertmaster of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in Arizona, a professor of violin at the University of Arizona, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Stony Brook University in New York, a Master of Music from Yale School of Music, and an Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Ms. Abraham regularly performs with husband Timothy Kantor, Senior Lecturer of Violin at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
