Beginning her musical journey as a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Jasmine Barnes has developed as both a performer and recording artist within Australia’s contemporary music scene. Jasmine has performed across a range of live venues and events and regularly collaborates with musicians and producers to create original music. She currently performs live and leads a 10-piece band, bringing strong experience in stagecraft, collaboration, and musical direction.
Jasmine is currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Music Practice) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Alongside her studies, she is a signed recording artist with Disruptive Entertainment, where she records and develops original music while working with professional producers and industry teams. Her work has premiered and received critical acclaim on Triple J Unearthed’s TOPS (Best new Australian Music) program and has received support from Rolling Stone Magazine AU/NZ.
Jasmine is experienced in mentoring young musicians through songwriting, vocal development, and instrumental practice. She focuses on helping students build confidence, creativity, and their own authentic musical style while developing strong foundational skills. Jasmine designs personalised lessons that combine vocal technique, guitar accompaniment, songwriting, and performance skills to support each student’s individual musical goals.
