Entry to the Rising Stars Composition program is by application, not audition. Students who are interested in applying to join the composition program should prepare a body of work for submission which will be reviewed for consideration.

Students should be 10 years old in the year following your application.

All students must enrol in an audition to be considered to join the Rising Stars Program. Auditions are held at the end of each year, with applications opening in September for auditions held in late October. There are no mid-year auditions for entry into the Rising Stars program.

Students who are successful in applying for the Rising Stars program are required to participate in the Music Skills Diagnostic Test. Dates and times will be confirmed at a later date.
