Nexus NDV Choir
Nexus NDV is a high-level harmony group for neurodivergent young adults aged 18-35'ish.
Run by Musical Director Naomi Crellin (The Idea of North) and Communications Director John Knowles (professional improvisation comedian, storyteller and communication coach), Nexus was created with a simple goal: to create a space for skilled and passionate harmony singers to meet and make music without the stringent expectations and conventions generally placed upon musical outfits at this level.
Nexus members participate within their individual capacity, and individualism is celebrated and utilised to foster a judgement-free zone where people feel comfortable being themselves. AND we make great music!
The group sings an eclectic mix of repertoire, including jazz, pop, folk, video game music, and originals written by its members.
The group meets weekly on Thursday nights between 6:30 and 8:30 pm, with the odd break throughout the year (check term dates in the table above). Each rehearsal features an interactive session of conversation and communication to strengthen the bond between its members.
The Nexus spirit connects the members to each other and to their audiences with the clear message: diversity is our strength and our delight.

Other Information
To get to the G15 Old School Building on the USYD Darlington campus, enter from Maze Crescent (near Cadigal Green) or navigate from the Engineering Lawn. It is located near the School of Civil Engineering, easily accessible by walking from Redfern Station (10-15 min) or taking a bus down City Road.
