Jazz Harmony 2 builds on concepts presented in Jazz Harmony 1.

This course will discuss the Blues form, minor key harmony (in depth), guide tone lines, voice leading and diminished chord patterns and scales. An in-depth presentation of melodic analysis techniques will also be covered.

In addition, two workshop weeks will be scheduled for composition assignments to be performed and analysed.

Entry: by prior enrolment in Jazz Harmony 1.
