Val completed his Bachelor of Performance degree with Julian Smiles in 2020. He performed in Italy during the Estivo Chamber Music Summer School and has received masterclasses from renowned artists such as Eberhard Feltz, Wayne Foster-Smith, Richard Narroway and Natalie Clein. Val has extensive teaching experience with beginner to advanced students and previously held a teaching position at St Scholasticas College.
