Benjamin picked up the clarinet at the age of 12 and is currently enrolled as a postgraduate student at the Sydney Conservatorium where he receives lessons from Francesco Celata. His professional training started when he passed the audition to study at the College of Music, Mahidol University as a part of the (Pre-college) Young Artist’s Music Program. Ben studied clarinet under the guidance of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra principal clarinettist, Sooksan Ratanapol. Upon completing the Young Artist’s Music Program, he continued his clarinet studies with Dr. Yos Vaneesorn through Silpakorn University. He then transferred to the Sydney Conservatorium Music and completed the Bachelor of Music (Performance) with the mentorship of Susan Newsome. Ben performs regularly in the Sydney music scene and was part of the Sydney Concert Orchestra in their most recent performances.
