Joe Manton is a musician, composer and educator with a large variety of experience in all three areas. For the last 20 years, electronic music production/analysis/research/and development have been a major focus for him as a musician, composer, software designer, instrument builder and music educator. Joe has built a huge and unique music studio full of analog and digital synthesisers, effect units, microphones, amplifiers and other equipment in which he works daily. He is also a music software developer. Joe studied music composition at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he achieved his Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours, his Masters Degree, and is currently completing a PhD. He has been happily teaching music to students of all ages for over 17 years, writing both instrumental and electronic music for over 20 years, performing as a musician for 30 years and is always seeking to learn more and understand more about music.
