This course has been written and delivered by one of Australia’s most experienced songwriting instructors, Keppie Coutts. In addition to starting her teaching career as an Assistant Professor of Songwriting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Keppie has been personally mentored by Pat Pattison (author of Writing Better Lyrics), and Grammy award-winning songwriter John Mayer.
Keppie was a recipient of the ASCAP Lester Sill Professional Development mentorship in Los Angeles (2011), and since then has taught songwriting and lyric writing for Berklee Online, The Songwriting School of LA, the Australian College of the Arts, the Australian Institute of Music, the JMC Academy, and the Open Academy at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
