THIS IS A LIVE AUDITION - You will receive an email 1 week before the audition to confirm your audition time.

SOUL ENSEMBLES COMMENCE ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Tuesday nights 6-8pm from 29 July - tutor Darren Heinrich

Thursday nights 6-8pm from 31 July - tutor Nick Hoorweg

Once you have passed your audition you will be emailed a link to enrol in the course. The fee for the 8 week term is $585. If you enrol for an audition by 30 June, you will only pay the Early Bird rate of $514.80 for the term (12% discount), providing you are successful at audition. If you are a full-time student or hold a current pension/healthcare card you will be eligible for a 15% discount - for this to apply, you will need to enter your ID number when you enrol in the course.

PLEASE NOTE: We will only audition positions that are vacant. Current students have first option to re-enrol. If there are no places available for your instrument, we will inform you and refund your audition fee.

Please let us know your instrument when enrolling in the audition.

Jazz Guitar

This course is aimed at intermediate level guitarists who want to expand on their jazz knowledge while meeting other players of a similar level. It’s a playing based course and the small class size (maximum of seven) allows for a good deal of in class jamming. Topics usually covered include technical aspects of scales and jazz chords, harmony analysis, accompaniment styles, rhythmic aspects and soloing.
