Entry Requirements: Intermediate level players with some existing jazz playing experience. Knowledge of major scales, key signatures and some jazz chords is required.

These classes are designed for students who wish to develop confident improvisation, aural and sight-reading skills. They provide an ensemble-based environment for the development of personal jazz skills, along with an understanding of the dynamics at work in a small performance group. Rising Stars Audition - Strings

Instruments welcome to apply: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp, Classical Guitar. All students must enrol in an audition to be considered to join the Rising Stars Program.
