These classes are designed for students who wish to develop confident improvisation, aural and sight reading skills. They provide an ensemble-based environment for the development of personal jazz skills, along with an understanding of the dynamics at work in a small performance group. Rising Stars Audition - Brass
Instruments welcome to apply are: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Euphonium. Please join the waiting list to be notified when auditions are opened. These classes are designed to introduce the student to a broad range of classic Soul and Rhythm ’n’ Blues music styles. Key features of this broad genre are revealed through the performance of historically important repertoire from the 1950s/60s/70s through to the present era.
