1. Video submission dates for applicants close on Monday 24th October at 5pm. No applications will be accepted after this date.
2. Successful applicants will be notified in writing. Students may be asked to participate in a second Live Audition round on either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th November.
3. Students who are successful in auditioning for the Rising Stars program are required to participate in the Music Skills Diagnostic Test. Dates and times will be confirmed at a later date.

1. Video audition applications close on Monday 24th October, 5pm. No applications will be accepted after this date.
2. Applicants who passed the video auditions will be notified by email.
3. Successful applicants will then be invited to participate in the live auditions taking place on Monday 31st October. An individual audition timeslot will be allocated to you. If there is a specific time that you will not be available, please inform us immediately to aid with scheduling.
4. Students who are successful in auditioning for the Rising Stars program are required to participate in the Music Skills Diagnostic Test. Dates and times will be confirmed at a later date.

2. Applicants are required to present two pieces of different styles, showing a range of musical and technical skill. One study and one piece is recommended. Please ensure that the video captures at least the upper body of the student, including finger combinations, embouchure, and breathing technique. Piano accompaniment is not required.
3. Woodwind applicants will also be required to present one prepared piece/excerpt, which will be sent to you on Monday 10th October. Accompaniment is not required.
4. Students who are successful in auditioning for the Rising Stars program are required to participate in the Music Skills Diagnostic Test. Dates and times will be confirmed at a later date.

Kids at the Con School Holiday Workshops - 6-10 year olds

Kids at the Con School Holiday Workshops (6-10yrs) run for 5 hours each day, from 9am to 2pm. Activities include pitch and rhythm work using tuned and un-tuned percussion instruments, active listening activities, and the opportunity to make your own instrument. Parents/guardians are welcome to drop off their children in the morning, and return at 1.45pm for a ‘mini performance’ of the children’s activities from the workshop.
