Students will be extending the knowledge and skills that they gained in the Jazz Piano 1st Steps level 1 course.  By studying classic jazz tunes from the Great American Songbook and by many of the jazz masters, students will develop a deeper understanding of jazz harmony as well as melodies and rhythms unique to the jazz idiom. Rising Stars Audition - Piano

All students must enrol in an audition to be considered to join the Rising Stars Program. Auditions are held at the end of each year, with applications opening in September for auditions held in late October. There are no mid-year auditions for entry into the Rising Stars program.
