Instruments welcome to apply are: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Euphonium. Auditions for the 2024 program will be held on Saturday 4th November 2023 between 12 and 2pm. Blues Guitar Level 1
Blues Guitar will look into the Blues Form and discuss the cadence, primary chords, associated scales, tensions and stress points of the harmony and melody. This course will look at variations to the basic progression and discuss the various sub genres such as Delta, Chicago, Texas Blues and more. Contemporary Vocal Studio - Audition
A short audition will be conducted for this course You will need to enrol for the audition. Please prepare: a verse and a chorus from 2 contrasting songs (eg a ballad and an uptempo song) to be sung a cappella. There will also be some vocal exercises to be given on the day. Should you be successful, you will be emailed after the audition date with a link to enrol in the class itself.
