Entry Level: Ability to read simple melody line and chord symbol charts.

These classes are designed for students who wish to develop confident improvisation, aural and sight-reading skills. They provide an ensemble-based environment for the development of personal jazz skills, along with an understanding of the dynamics at work in a small performance group. Rising Stars Audition - Piano

All students must enrol in an audition to be considered to join the Rising Stars Program. Auditions are held at the end of each year, with applications opening in September for auditions held in late October. There are no mid-year auditions for entry into the Rising Stars program. Songwriting 1
