Kids at the Con - Green Class

For 6-7 year olds In the Green class, children continue to experience the elements of music through singing, moving and playing. Conventional music notation is introduced including rhythm, bass and treble clef. For 7-10 year olds The participants in this level bring a diversity of musical experiences to class as some have started learning a specific instrument, but others have not. All students share equally in experiencing and making music. This class is for Students auditioning to join the Rising Stars Jazz Program in Semester 2 2026.

There are 2 rounds. A video round (due 5pm Monday 15th June), and a live round (held Monday 29th June from 330pm).

Please note, there is no in person activity on Monday 15th June. This is just the due date and time for your audition enrolment and video application to be received.

Videos should be uploaded to YouTube following the instructions provided below, and emailed to con.openacademy@sydney.edu.au.

Successful students will join the program from Semester 2 2026.
