Jazz Ensembles or Jazzgroup One - Audition

Jazz Ensembles (intermediate level) run on Mondays -*tutored by Andrew Dickeson* as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays - tutored by Ron Philpott. For adults (minimum age 16)
Jazz Ensemble classes will commence on Monday 1 May, 7 to 9pm (tutor – Andrew Dickeson), Tuesday 2 May or Thursday 4 May, 6-8pm (tutor – Ron Philpott). Jazzgroup One (advanced) will commence on Wednesday 3 May, 6-8pm (tutor – Brendan Clarke).

The fee for the 8 week term for each class is $495. If you enrol for an audition by 10 April, you will only pay the Early Bird rate of $435.60 for the term (which is a 12% discount), providing you are successful at audition.

Impro Basics Level 2

For instrumentalists who have completed Impro Basics Level 1, or who have some improvisation experience, this course provides an opportunity to continue developing elementary skills in ensemble playing, improvisation and standard jazz repertoire.
