This session is for Rising Stars woodwind auditions only. Instruments welcome to apply are: Flute/Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Cor Anglais, Saxophone.

Your audition will fall between 4pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday 28th November, 2017. An individual audition timeslot will be allocated to you. You will be notified of your timeslot by Friday 24th November. Applications close on Wednesday 22nd November, 2017. If there is a specific time that you will not be available, please inform us immediately to aid with scheduling.

Woodwind applicants will also be required to present a prepared piece/excerpt, which will be sent to you by 10th November.

In addition to the instrumental audition, all successful applicants will be required to sit a Music Skills test. Attendance at this test is compulsory for all successful applicants. The compulsory Music Skills test will take place on Thursday 7th December, 4.30 – 6.30pm at the Conservatorium. Please pencil this date into your diaries to ensure you are available if you pass the audition.

This session is for Rising Stars brass auditions only. Instruments welcome to apply are: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba, Euphonium.

Your audition will fall between 4.30pm-6pm on Wednesday 29th November, 2017. An individual audition timeslot will be allocated to you. You will be notified of your timeslot by Friday 24th November. Applications close on 22 November, 2017. If there is a specific time that you will not be available, please inform us immediately to aid with scheduling.

OR
*Tuesday 6 February from 7.30-9.30pm.

Once you have passed your audition you will be emailed a link to enrol. The fee for the 8 week term will be $415. If you enrol for an audition by Monday 15 January, you will only pay the Early Bird rate of $365.20 ( 12% discount) for the term, providing you are successful at audition.

Jazz Ensemble classes will commence on Monday 5 February, 7 to 9pm (tutor – Andrew Dickeson), Tuesday 6 February or Thursday 8 February, 6-8pm (tutor – Ron Philpott), Wednesday 7 February, 6-8pm (tutor – Hannah James).

The fee for the 8 week term is $495. If you enrol for an audition by 15 January, you will only pay the Early Bird rate of $435.60 for the term (12% discount), providing you are successful at audition.
